COME JOIN US FOR THE 22Th ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TOURNAMENT!!!  THE BEST BEST SOCCER BETWEEN DALLAS AND ALBUQUERQUE.  GREAT MATCHES IN BOTH RECREATIONAL AND OPEN DIVISIONS…

1ST THROUGH 4TH PLACE AWARDED IN EACH DIVISION

  WHEN:       MAY 23 – 25, 2008.  MONDAY, MAY 26TH IS THE RAIN OUT DATE

  WHERE:      BERL HUFFMAN SOCCER COMPLEX, LUBBOCK , TEXAS

  FEE:            U7 – U8 BOYS/GIRLS                                               $125.00

                   U9 – U19 BOYS/GIRLS (RECREATIONAL)             $250.00

                        U11 – U19 BOYS/GIRLS (OPEN)                               $250.00

  AWARDS:   U7-U8 WILL RECEIVE PARTICIPATION WARDS.

                   U9 – U19 RECREATIONAL WILL RECEIVE 1ST – 4TH AWARDS

                        U11 – U19 OPEN WILL RECEIVE 1ST – 4TH AWARDS

TEAMS - Short-sided games in accordance to NTSSA adopted team size
                               U7 & U8 - 5 v 5 (no goalkeeper)
                               U9 & U10 - 7 v 7 (6 + goalkeeper)
                               U11 - U19 - 11 v 11

GUEST PLAYERS – 3 – guest player for recreational teams
                              5 – guest players for open teams
                             all guest player forms must be filed with tournament

TRUE AGE PURE BRACKETS WILL BE FORMED WHERE POSSIBLE!!

  First aid and emergency medical services will be provided at the complex.

  COACH’S MEETING is mandatory.  Friday night, May 23, 2008 at the Tournament Hotel – Holiday Inn Lubbock Plaza , South Loop 289, at 9:00pm .  Your team will receive the latest word on possible schedule changes and/or brackets changes, if any, and other important information that might come up at the last minute.

  TRAVEL REFEREES – we need them!!!  Certified referees are welcome to sign up with the Assignor before the tournament.  Travel referees with no team affiliation may qualify for free lodging.  Contact Charles Kellogg – 806-792-9869 – or email charles.kellogg@ttu.edu

  LODGING – A list of participating motels is enclosed for your use.  Please call early to ensure the Tournament rate.  Be sure to tell them your are coming to the Cup.

  UNDER 19 TEAMS – let us know your graduation date and times.  Every effort will be made to schedule around this event.  Let us know ASAP.

  PAPERWORK CHECKLIST – please make sure to send:

1)      entry fee - made payable to Lubbock Soccer Association

2)    signed team roster

3)     completed guest player form(s)

4)   travel permits & ID’s – NON – NTSSA TEAMS ONLY

5)    medical releases – must be brought with you to check-in.

Entry fee, application, team roster and other necessayr paperwork must be mailed together to address below.  PAPERWORK MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MAY 12, 2007 .  NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 19, 2007 .
